Open all

As Learning & Development Manager, you bring focus, structure and impact to learning and development at Van Geloven. You translate organisational objectives and skills gaps into a strong learning strategy and concrete interventions, thereby making an important contribution to the development of our people and the organisation. Concretely, this means:

  • Developing and implementing the company-wide L&D strategy, including attention to an AI mindset and new skills;
  • Strengthening the learning culture and embedding development on the shop floor;
  • Setting up learning programmes for onboarding, leadership and talent development;
  • Translating skills gaps into targeted development interventions;
  • Selecting and managing effective learning solutions and programmes;
  • Organising and harmonising training programmes across multiple sites;
  • Advising HR and management on learning and development matters;
  • Managing quality, budget, suppliers and subsidy opportunities.

You report to the HR Director, are a member of the HRMT and work closely with HR, line management and stakeholders across the various sites.

You are a strong, collaborative professional who can translate strategy into concrete actions. You feel at home in an environment where there is still much to build and professionalise, and you know how to bring people along in change. You combine your vision with a pragmatic, people-centred approach and see yourself in the following profile:

  • A completed HBO or university degree, preferably in Educational Sciences, HR, Business Administration or a similar field;
  • Extensive experience in Learning & Development, talent development or organisation development;
  • Experience developing and implementing learning strategies and training programmes;
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and advising management and HR;
  • Experience with change programmes and embedding new behaviour in practice;
  • Affinity for data-driven working and making the effectiveness and impact of learning interventions clear;
  • An independent, structured and results-oriented working style.

Van Geloven is an organisation with an open and collegial atmosphere, where Connection, Improvement and Responsibility are core values. There is plenty of room for your personality, talent and ideas. You will have the opportunity to leave your mark on our future and help build a strong L&D culture.

In addition, we offer:

  • A salary between €6,100 and €7,600 gross per month for full-time employment;
  • 8% holiday allowance and a 3% year-end bonus;
  • 40 days off (25 holiday days + 15 ATV days for full-time employment);
  • Good pension scheme;
  • Hybrid working options;
  • Discounts on our products and on your gym membership;
  • Mobile phone, laptop and daily fresh fruit on site.
