In this role you are responsible for the full range of checks and improvements at the production site. You will be doing:

  • Quality monitoring: You approve raw materials, semi-finished and finished products according to our set plans and specifications.
  • Process control: You carry out hygiene and process checks and coach colleagues to follow the quality rules.
  • Analysis & Reporting: You collect quality data, review KPIs and spot deviations in time.
  • Improvement: You carry out root cause analyses when problems occur and proactively set corrective actions to optimise processes.
  • Testing: You take samples for testing and advise the Product Quality & Sensory Lead on all aspects of product and process control.

What does your day look like? You start your shift with a handover from the previous team. While the production lines are running, you do your rounds: do the snacks smell right, is the texture correct and is the hygiene on the floor optimal? A highlight of your day is the bake tests; you literally taste and check our products for flavour and quality. In between you talk to the production operators, pick up some troubleshooting and enter your findings in SAP. You finish your shift with a satisfied feeling: thanks to you, all snacks left the factory 100% safe today.

We are looking for an accurate and quality-conscious professional with a passion for the food industry. You work independently, think analytically and like to take responsibility for your work.

You also have:

  • MBO level, preferably in food or quality;
  • At least 1 year of experience in the food industry;
  • Knowledge of food safety, microbiology and quality controls;
  • You are willing to work a 3-shift schedule (you will be trained on day shifts for the first months);
  • Good digital skills and preferably experience with SAP and Microsoft Office;
  • An excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written.
