3-shift Operator | Helmond

As an Operator at Van Geloven you keep our production lines running and make sure the tastiest snacks in the Netherlands roll off the line. Together with your colleagues you monitor the production process, set up machines and keep things running smoothly. Depending on your experience and the department you will work as a Process operator or a Packaging operator. Together we'll find the role that suits you best.

What you'll do as an Operator:

• Set up, operate and carry out changeovers on production machines.
• Monitor the production process and quality.
• Spot and fix breakdowns on the production lines.
• Carry out quality checks.
• Work with the maintenance team on major breakdowns and changeovers.
• Refill and replace raw materials and packaging materials.
• Suggest improvements to the production process.
• Work according to safety, quality and hygiene rules.

• Likes being active and enjoys physical work;
• Is available to work in a 3-shift system;
• Speaks Dutch and/or English;
• Stays calm and can work accurately and safely;
• Preferably already has experience in a production environment, or wants to learn the job.

Your workplace

You'll be working at Van Geloven in Helmond, better known as Van Lieshout Snackwaren. Around 180 colleagues work together at this site to make the tastiest snacks in the Netherlands. We're the specialist in frikandellen and we also produce hamburgers, minced meat products and more than 50 different snacks for the professional market.

Our factory runs day and night. With modern, largely automated production lines we produce over 1.2 million frikandellen every day. We combine smart technology with the craftsmanship that has made Van Lieshout Snackwaren known for years. Here, iconic products like the BikFrik are still made according to an authentic butcher's recipe.

The site is easy to reach. You can park for free in the spacious car park behind the factory. From there it's about a five-minute walk to the changing rooms. Travelling by public transport? The bus from Helmond station stops right outside.
