As an HR Advisor at Van Geloven you will have the freedom to make a direct impact on the engagement of all colleagues in Tilburg. Together with the HR Business Partners Ramona & Pascal you are the main point of contact for managers and colleagues when it comes to HR matters. In this versatile HR role you are the contact for both colleagues from our factory and colleagues at the office. You are visible on the shop floor, in direct contact with the teams and therefore have a very good understanding of what is going on.

This role is the ideal combination of people-centred work — being in contact with colleagues — and optimising the necessary administrative HR processes. Thanks to your HR experience, you know better than anyone how to make a difference for colleagues; you can tackle more complex absence management issues without difficulty and provide the right guidance to managers on HR challenges.

Together with a committed HR team you will help build a working environment in Tilburg where colleagues can develop, collaborate well and enjoy coming to work. You will support HR matters and actively contribute to colleague engagement. Therefore it is important that you are often present and visible at our office in Tilburg and in the factory.

Your responsibilities

As an HR Advisor you will have certain recurring tasks and there are various HR projects where you can make an impact. No day or week is the same — that doesn't faze you; it energises you. You combine administrative and structured work with a people-centred approach. Specifically, you will be working on:

  • Conducting absence interviews and guiding reintegration programmes.
  • Resolving incidents between colleagues in the factories. You are the link between the team leader, HR and colleagues and ensure a constructive solution.
  • Supporting frequent absence cases and more complex HR casework; you act as an advisory business partner to managers.
  • Facilitating an optimal onboarding for new colleagues and ensuring appropriate development discussions or exit interviews.
  • Ensuring correct administrative follow-up of HR processes and identifying possible HR optimisations.
  • Analysing HR dashboards and proactively acting on the insights with colleagues.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance colleague engagement and development.

You are an HR professional ready for the next step in HR. You thrive in a dynamic environment and can easily switch between colleagues from the factory and the office. You are willing to take responsibility and enjoy working as part of a team. Furthermore, you have:

  • A completed HBO degree, preferably in HR.
  • At least 2 years' experience in an HR advisory role.
  • Strong communication skills and experience conducting employee conversations.
  • Persuasiveness and the ability to be a confident discussion partner for managers.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to gather the right information from your stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Experience with appropriate follow-up in more complex sickness absence cases.
  • Experience with AFAS and job evaluation is a plus.
  • Preferably available for 40 hours per week (32 hours is negotiable).

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,800 and €4,800 based on full-time.
  • 8% holiday allowance and 3% year-end bonus.
  • 40 days off per year (25 holiday days + 15 ATV days).
