At Van Geloven we build strong brands such as Mora and Van Dobben every day. For our Retail Snacking team we are looking for a Junior Brand Manager Retail (Belgium) who is energised by building brands, executing campaigns and driving commercial impact in a dynamic FMCG environment.

As Junior Brand Manager (Belgium) you play a key role in executing our marketing plans for the Belgian retail market. You translate consumer, shopper and market insights into concrete brand and activation initiatives and contribute to achieving our commercial and brand objectives.

You work closely with colleagues in marketing, sales, R&D and with external agencies for creative, media and research. The emphasis in this role is on execution, analysis and project management.

What you'll do?

  • Execute and monitor marketing plans for campaigns, activations and innovations;
  • Analyse portfolio, market and competitor data and translate it into concrete recommendations;
  • Contribute to brand campaigns from briefing through to evaluation;
  • Coordinate low-complexity new product, renovation and packaging projects as marketing project lead;
  • Collaborate with agencies (creative, media, research, packaging);
  • Align with sales and trade marketing on promotions, category insights and portfolio development;
  • Provide input based on analyses for segment trends and forecasting cycles;
  • Monitor quality and follow up on complaint analyses;
  • Work closely with the Foodservice marketing team to ensure brand consistency.

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Marketing, Commercial Economics or equivalent;
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in marketing within FMCG (retail/branded is a plus);
  • Strong analytical and project management skills;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and French;
  • Knowledge of the Belgian retail market or Benelux experience.

You take ownership, maintain an overview and switch effortlessly between creativity, data and execution. In addition, you learn quickly and are open to continuous development.

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge of the Belgian retail market or Benelux experience.
