As Key Account Manager DACH you are responsible for building, developing and expanding strategic customer relationships across the DACH region. You focus on customers such as Edeka, Rewe, Kaufland, Aldi, Lidl, Metro, Bofrost and relevant foodservice partners.

You turn customer needs and market insight into concrete commercial actions, thereby contributing to sustainable growth in revenue, margin and sales. You switch effortlessly between strategic customer meetings, commercial negotiations and internal alignment with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Category Management, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance.

With a portfolio of Mora, own‑brand and customer‑brand solutions you combine entrepreneurial drive with the clout of a European market leader. This position is perfect for a commercial doer who draws energy from international growth and developing new business. As Key Account Manager DACH you are part of the International Business Development team and work closely with our Commercial Director Walter van de Ven.

Because this role supports further international growth, it comes with a high degree of operational freedom. Our head office is in Tilburg, but given the focus on the DACH region you ideally live in that region. In consultation with you, we will be happy to discuss the ideal location and working arrangement during your interview.

What are your responsibilities?

  • You identify and develop new business opportunities in retail and foodservice across the DACH region.
  • You build strong relationships with strategic customers, distributors and relevant market partners.
  • You translate market and customer insights into clear growth plans and new product innovations.
  • You identify opportunities in assortment, promotions, category development, innovation and sales.
  • You negotiate commercial agreements, terms, annual plans and customer development plans.
  • You ensure accurate customer planning, forecasting and the tracking of agreed actions.
  • You create internal support for commercial opportunities and ensure the right priorities across the organisation.

Your strengths

You are a commercially minded doer. Growth, new markets and unlocking new opportunities energise you. You know how to win customers over, but you are also strong enough to set direction and focus internally. You combine entrepreneurial drive with analytical thinking, commercial discipline and a collaborative mindset.

In addition, you bring:

  • A successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in sales, business administration or an equivalent qualification;
  • At least 5 years' experience as an Account Manager, in Business Development or in international sales within the FMCG sector;
  • Experience in retail and/or foodservice in Germany or across the DACH region;
  • You are fluent in German and English, and preferably also Dutch;
  • A relevant network in retail, foodservice, sales or food wholesale is a major plus;
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with annual commercial plans, customer plans and P&L responsibility;
  • You are a team player with the assertiveness to further expand a market;
  • Analytical skills to translate market data, customer data and commercial opportunities into concrete actions;

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,600 and €5,800 for full-time employment.
  • A company car (leasing) and an expense allowance.
  • 3% year-end allowance, 8% holiday pay.
