Maintenance technician - 3 shifts

You will join the technical service at our production site in Maastricht. On a three-shift rota you will work with fellow technicians to minimise downtime. You carry out both planned and corrective maintenance on (packaging) machines and installation components.

Specifically:

• You troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in production, both on the line and in modules in the workshop;
• You perform preventive maintenance on machines and installations;
• You assist with the overhaul of machine parts and the replacement of worn components;
• You work with drawings, electrical and mechanical schematics;
• You record all your work accurately in the maintenance system;
• You contribute ideas for technical improvements to increase reliability;
• You work in accordance with safety rules, food safety standards and internal quality guidelines.

• MBO qualification (level 3 or 4) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or equivalent;
• Experience as a maintenance technician or similar in an industrial/food environment;
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical engineering, pneumatics and, preferably, practical experience with PLCs;
• A problem-solving mindset, attention to detail and a willingness to work collaboratively;
• Holding a VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one) is an advantage.

• Salary indication: €3,600 – €4,580 including shift allowance (depending on experience);
• 25 days' holiday + ATV days for full-time employment;
