We have around 170 people working at Van Geloven Helmond, also known as Van Lieshout Snackwaren. In Helmond we're the frikandel specialist of the Netherlands — we make various types of frikandellen, as well as burgers and minced-meat products for the professional market. Around 1,200,000 frikandellen come off our automated lines every day. In Helmond we make over 50 different snacks. That's more than an average chip shop offers. No two days are the same.
Van Lieshout Snackwaren has been part of Van Geloven since 2002. The brand's long history is still clearly visible. Even though our production processes are largely automated, we still place great value on craftsmanship. That craftsmanship has already produced many top products, like the famous BikFrik, based on an authentic butcher's recipe.
Behind the factory there's a large car park; from there it's about a five-minute walk to the changing room. From Helmond station there's a bus to the factory that stops right outside the building.
