Open all

Since 1969 we have been making croquettes in Tilburg and since 1972 satay. To supply our snacks across the Netherlands, the production lines must run without problems.

As a maintenance and repair technician you feel at home in a busy environment where no two days are the same. That gives you energy! Together with your colleagues you make sure the machines run optimally and you carry out preventive maintenance. You fix electrical and mechanical faults in production, and you also repair and maintain machine modules in our workshop.

You also help improve the machines and production processes. You log your work in the maintenance system. You are in contact with various colleagues and everyone helps each other.

The technical department has 15 enthusiastic technicians. They like to get stuck in, are very collegial and sociable. They value teamwork and enjoy a good laugh.

You're a great colleague, a tinkerer through and through, a doer, careful and solution-focused.

  • You have a completed technical MBO-3/4 qualification, in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related technical field.
  • You have experience as a maintenance mechanic, breakdown mechanic, all-round mechanic, technician, shift mechanic, junior mechanic or service mechanic within a technical environment.
  • You want to develop further in mechanical (W) and electrical (E) maintenance.

You'll be employed directly by us and receive a good salary between €3,800 - €5,000, including a 28% shift allowance. With an average workweek of 33.6 hours we strive for a pleasant work-life balance.

What else is included:

  • 25 days' holiday;
  • 8% holiday allowance;
  • 3% year-end bonus;
  • Travel allowance from 10 km one-way (maximum €151 per month);
  • Pension scheme;
  • Collective insurance (accident, liability, WIA top-up);
  • No-sickness bonus (€175 - €215 net per year depending on your own and the company's absence);
  • Gym allowance;
  • Opportunities to develop through training and courses;
  • Lots of freedom; you can think outside the box and that makes your job fun and varied;
  • Tasty snacks to try, also to take home at a discount.

At Van Geloven Tilburg, historically known as Ad van Geloven, around 250 people work in our factory. Our Tilburg factory is the world's largest croquette factory. Each year we generate about €300 million in turnover.

Besides our ragout products (croquettes and bitterballen), we also produce satay, spring rolls and chicken products in Tilburg. Did you know we fold our spring rolls by hand? Our mini snack mixes, like Mora's Funmix, as well as the larger boxes for the catering sector, are also packed in Tilburg. This is where our mini snack favourites from different factories come together.

Van Geloven has a long history in Tilburg that goes back to the early 1960s. Back then we started by producing soups and ragout. In 1969 the first croquettes rolled off the production line.

Originally started as a family business, those values are still visible today. We have an open, down-to-earth culture. Our CEO is approachable; his door is open to everyone.

We put our employees at the centre. We also have an active staff association.
