Operator 3-shift | Helmond

As an Operator you're responsible for keeping the production running smoothly. Depending on your experience and the department you'll work as a process operator or packaging operator. Together we'll see which role suits you best.

You will do the following:

• Setting up, operating and performing changeovers on production machines.
• Monitoring the production process and quality.
• Spotting and resolving first-line faults.
• Performing quality checks.
• Working with the maintenance team on larger breakdowns and changeovers.
• Replenishing and replacing ingredients or packaging materials.
• Helping to improve the production process.
• Working according to safety, quality and hygiene rules.

You like to get stuck in and enjoy achieving results together.

In addition:

• you have MBO-level education;
• you have experience as an operator or in a production environment, or you’re eager to learn the trade;
• you have technical insight;
• you’re willing to work in a 3-shift system;
• you work carefully and safely.

Your workplace

You'll be working at Van Geloven in Helmond, better known as Van Lieshout Snackwaren. Around 180 colleagues work together at this location to make the tastiest snacks in the Netherlands. We're the specialist in frikandellen and we also produce burgers, minced meat products and more than 50 different snacks for the professional market.

You'll be working in a factory that runs day and night. With modern, mostly automated production lines you'll help produce over 1.2 million frikandellen every day. We combine smart technology with the craftsmanship Van Lieshout Snackwaren has been known for. Iconic products like the BikFrik are still made here using an authentic butcher's recipe.

The site is easy to reach. You can park for free on the large car park behind the factory. From there it's about a five-minute walk to the changing rooms. Travelling by public transport? The bus from Helmond station stops almost right outside.
