Your responsibilities as QC Operator

For our production site in Maastricht we're looking for a QC Operator Raw Materials to Finished Goods. Together with five colleagues you are responsible for guarding quality across the whole chain: from checking incoming raw materials (raw materials) to releasing our finished goods (finished goods).

You'll be on the production floor a lot and liaise daily with production and other departments.

What you'll do

• You check raw materials, semi-finished products, packaging materials and finished products against the applicable quality requirements;
• You carry out quality checks, inspections and sampling throughout the production process;
• You process and evaluate analysis results and record them carefully;
• You block products that don't meet specifications and coordinate next steps with the relevant departments;
• You investigate quality deviations and actively contribute ideas for improvements;
• You contribute to a safe and high-quality production.

• An MBO or HBO qualification, preferably in Food, Food Technology or Laboratory;
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a quality role within the food industry;
• A background in microbiology is a plus;
• You're precise, quality-minded and analytical;
• You stay calm under pressure, are assertive and stand your ground;
• You dare to ask tough questions and won't just nod along;
• You are proficient in Dutch and English.

• You will receive a gross monthly salary between €3,250 and €3,850 (based on a 40-hour working week), depending on your skills and experience;
