Van Geloven Mol was an important production site for many years, known for, among other things, SitoGold and bread-roll snacks
Van Geloven Mol, known as Mora Mol, was a production site within the Van Geloven network for many years. The site played an important role in producing snacks for the Belgian and Dutch markets, with products such as SitoGold, bread-roll snacks and fish snacks.
This facility focused on large-scale production for both retail and foodservice. The factory supplied various customers and was known for its consistent quality and efficient production processes.
The site was part of Mora, a brand with a long history in the snack industry. From Mol, products were distributed to several countries, giving the facility international significance as well.
In line with Van Geloven's strategy to concentrate production at fewer locations, the Mol factory has been closed and its activities moved to other sites. The factory, which had been active for almost half a century, thereby closed an important chapter.
From local production to part of a larger network
The Mol site began as a strong production base within Mora and grew into a factory with a broad range of snacks. Products such as the SitoGold were produced here in an artisanal way and found their way to hospitality venues and consumers at home and abroad.
After joining Van Geloven, the site became part of a larger organisation, with well-known brands and a wider market reach. The expertise and production capacity from Mol have since been transferred to other locations, where the work continues.
