What is QESH?
QESH stands for Quality, Environment, Safety & Health. At Van Geloven this means we work every day on the quality of our products, the safety of our colleagues and a responsible approach to people and the environment.
The team brings together different disciplines.
- QA (Quality Assurance) focuses on food safety, quality systems and product quality.
- SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) deals with workplace safety, health and environmental legislation.
- QESH connects these disciplines so that processes comply with laws and regulations and with the high quality requirements of Van Geloven and our customers.
Working on quality and food safety
Our products are sold every day in supermarkets, snack bars and hospitality outlets at home and abroad. That's why we set high standards for quality and food safety.
Within QESH you work on, among other things:
- quality checks;
- audits and inspections;
- certifications;
- improving processes;
- risk analyses;
- laws and regulations;
- collaboration with production and engineering.
In this way you contribute every day to safe and high-quality products.
Working together on the factory floor
The QESH team works closely with production, the technical department, logistics and operations. You are visible on the shop floor and support colleagues in improving processes and ensuring compliance with quality and safety guidelines.
No two days are the same. You move between analyses, meetings, audits and practical improvements.
QESH stands for Quality, Environment, Safety & Health. The discipline focuses on quality, food safety, the environment and health and safety within an organisation.
A QESH coordinator helps the organisation meet legal and regulatory requirements, conducts audits, improves processes and supports colleagues on quality and safety.
QA focuses primarily on quality and food safety. QESH also includes the environment, health and safety, making it a broader field.
- That depends on the role. For some roles we seek experienced specialists, while for other roles you can receive internal training.
