History of Mora: a household name for over 60 years

Mora, an icon in the Dutch snack world, has its roots in Maastricht. It all started in 1960 as a small local butcher's shop, where Marcel Mourmans delivered croquettes and spring rolls from his father's shop to various snack bars in the region. The success was overwhelming, and together with his wife Robby Ramaekers he founded Mora.

Mora has since grown into a beloved brand known for its tasty snacks. Since the takeover by Van Geloven, we've grown even more and expanded our production to meet the rising demand for snacks in the Netherlands. Mora has become a symbol of quality, flavour and togetherness.

What you bring to the mix as an Operator

Responsibilities

As an Operator, you're the one who keeps our production going. You set the machines up correctly and keep them running. You check product quality and step in if there are any deviations. Your work is essential to make sure only the best snacks leave our factory.

Technical skills

As an Operator it's important that you're technically skilled. You know how to operate and set up machines and can fix minor faults. You also carry out quality checks and make sure production runs according to the correct procedures.

Teamwork

At Van Geloven Maastricht we work as a close-knit team. You regularly have contact with colleagues from different departments and team up to achieve one common goal: producing the tastiest snacks. We believe in a friendly workplace where teamwork and team spirit come first.
